Battle of Britain - Duxford
In September 2021, we went to the annual Battle of Britain airshow at Duxford. I say annual, but we were originally due to go in 2020 but, as with so many other things, this was cancelled due to Covid.
Overall, it seemed quieter than normal (although everyone seemed to cram along the barriers when the aircraft were flying).
Despite a very poor weather forecast, we managed to see a lot of flying unitil we decided to make a move for it when we felt the first few spots of rain. We timed it right, as as we were leaving the heavens opened and flying was stopped for the day.
